GM ePeen

Woot! The grind is over! Last night, alongside Leighann (Ryan), I finally hit the goal of 5000 gold to purchase my training for Artisan Riding Skill.

My gold grind started about three weeks ago, with 1500 gold in the coffers. As you can see by my professions, I'm not a farmer - at least in primary application. So how did I make my cash so quickly? Dailies, dailies, and more dailies! With a minimum return of 11 gold, 40 silver per daily for a level 70 toon, that is a significant lump of change in a relatively short period of time.

In addition, and as I had reported, I was also doing the Sha'tari Skyguard reputation grind. Keep in mind: in addition to Shadow Dust drops for the creation of Elixir of Shadows and the Time Lost Scroll drops for the quest Adversarial Blood, the Skettis mobs will also reward a player with stacks upon stacks of Netherweave Cloth as well as a decent amount of greens and blues suitable for disenchanting into mats suitable for the Auction House.

So what now? I have officially met all of my personal goals for this character, with the exception of a few reputation-based patterns for Leatherworking. Anything else is the proverbial icing on top. With that said, I'd like to ensure everyone else attains their goals. If any of you need assistance with questing or reputation grinds, please let me know. I'll be more than happy to come to your assistance. You'll be able to reach me flying ZOMG2FAST over the skies of Outland. :)
