New Look

The three column format was not working for me, so we will try out a two column look. The graphics will be updated soon.

Update: I like this a ton better - it just seems cleaner and easier to navigate. Each of the tabs on top are the "Big Ones" for WoW information on gameplay and loot, as well as a clickable tab to shoot me an email for... just off the top of my head... SCREENSHOTS.

If there are any other things you would like to see incorporated, just comment or send me an email.

Slideshow

There is now a Slideshow in the left column, albeit a not-working Slideshow. I have some research to do with the whole Flickr to Blogger thang.

Update: It seems that in order for the Slideshow to function properly, five pictures need to be on the site. Please get your screenies sent to me ASAP. You don't need to resize them or anything.

Also, I'll be hunting around for a "quote" AddOn/Widget for Blogger. I'm not having much luck, though, so if anyone has a line on something, be sure to let me know either by commenting or sending an email.

The Ballad of the Noob

Eye-Candy Upon Us

And woe to all who hear my Drums of War! On the mouseover, there should be a Wowhead javascript dealie. Testing... woot, that's hawt!

Here's the deal: this blog should be fun (or, rather, as fun as a blog can be) for everyone and not just to pass my time. What I'd like to ask is that you all email me some of your favorite screenshots or maybe a message with some particular lewt or recipe you've picked up that needs to be ePeened.

As Trost would say, "Shocking"

News flash - The patch is taking a lot longer than anticipated. I will update as more information is available so everyone can anticipate the length of the download.

The current push-back, in case you can't see in the screenie, is one hour. Those of us CST are looking at 3:00 PM for the patch. Of course, we've all borne witness to patch push-backs... not to mention AddOn and UI woes!

2.3.2 Patch Notes

Way too lengthy to post here, I did track down the patch notes for 2.3.2. In short: I hate shammies even more. point yourself here for a full read, courtesy of WoWWiki.

PvP Redux

We started off as a group of close friends who all knew each other. Since we weren't big enough to raid, the focus (spoken or unspoken - that's debatable) quickly turned to PvP, with Ielle, Trostnation and Radd terrorizing the brackets from 20-59. It seems, however, that the push has recently been to keep pace with Mike's hunter and blast into 70. This has been good thing.

With the influx of some new friends, I know there are a few people in the guild desiring to get some more PvP under their belts, so I was wondering: How would you all feel about going back to the PvP-centric weekends? I know that I would be more than willing to do so - unlike Brad and Dannielle, I spent my Honor on the Warlord's Pursuit and need to build up my cache of honor again... especially when considering how nice the S1 Arena Gear is wholly purchasable via honor and marks after the patch today.

Professions

It was an ongoing topic in the "newsletter" and I'd like to just move it to the front of everyone's mind. With many of us closing in on level 70, as well as quite a bit of progress in the 40-60 grind, crafted items for one another will really help gearing up our toons, all the while being able to save up for the damned mount costs.

in addition to Thott, Alla, WoWWiki, etc., I have found a tremendous crafting resource at Crafter's Tome. A link is provided on the left under Lore and Gaming Resources. In the next few days, I'll try to get an Our Roster - Crafter section in addition to the Our Roster - Mains.

Guild Bank

We're up to two tabs at the guild bank, which is awesome. Right now, there is a ton of items in there to aid start-up crafting. I really recommend everyone just dive in and withdraw as you need. Please don't feel shy about it - if anyone gets to overdrawing then permissions (or ranks) can be adjusted. Conversely, be sure to deposit items of use, as well as your spare gold towards the third tab.

Off the top of my head, I can say for certain that Brad has contributed a ton of potions and Dannielle has placed a few cut gems in the bank, as well. If you're curious what is in the bank, I believe Blizzard has set up browser-based... uh... browsing of the bank contents based on your rank. Just head over to The Armory and log in. For the really lazy folk, the log in screen is right here.

Of note: Blizzard screwed up on permissions. Apparently, if someone is /gkicked or /gquits, their permissions carry over to their new guild until someone (read: me) adjusts the new initiate's permissions manually.
There is an issue where Guild Bank permissions can become stuck when joining a new guild, Guild Leaders should manually readjust permissions to ensure desired settings.

Nice, huh? Please be very careful who you let in - I'd hate to have a guild-hopper clean us out once we start accumulating some phat lewtz.
There's an awesome new tool out for the AddOn junkies out there. WoW Mod Search is the potential one-stop-shop for those of us buckling underneath Tuesday evenings spent logging in, looking at a FUBAR interface, logging out, hunting down updates, DLing and installing, logging in again... wash, rinse, repeat. A link is provided on the left - good luck!
Welcome to the Frequently Reported website. There's going to be a lot of changes in appearance and content over the next few days - some will look like absolute shit because I'm still learning about Blogger, but eventually we will settle into something everyone (I hope!) can find useful and entertaining.

I'll try to keep the widgets and such to a minimum so the page loads at an acceptable time.
