Founder Meeting Recap

A few issues were discussed Tuesday evening, with the thoughts of better communication and better organization of guild events being the foci.

In attendace were: Chris, Dannielle, Jessi, Kenny, Liz, and Ryan. The not attending Founders were abscent due to real life events. Notes from the meeting are as follows (thanks to Liz for providing her transcription services):

Topic #1: Lack of WOW Enthusiasm

It was discussed how people have been logging in and complaining that they are bored. People are tired of just doing nothing but dailies. The guild would like to restore interest in playing again.

Discussed how the guild was and is and where we would want to go. Would still like to remain carefree and fun yet at the same time start scheduling events that people might like to attend. Understand that everyone has different interests (i.e. pvp, raiding, etc…) and schedules. The guild would like to find events and things to do to fit everyone.

Topic #2: Group Calendar

Discussion about making Group Calendar mandatory for everyone in the guild to help with planning events and making it easier for everyone to be aware of different things that are going on.

Motion was brought to the table to make it mandatory. It was seconded and passed by all attendees.

Dannielle mentioned doing some of the events like scavenger hunt, pirate event, etc… that she had done on Akama if people showed interest in doing them.

Topic #3: Recruitment

Discussion held on recruitment and what people would like to see ( in order):
  1. Good Personality
  2. What Classes
  3. Experience
  4. Trial Period
  5. Minimum level of 60
Topic #4: Clubhouse

We talked about having a clubhouse for meetings and such, somewhere, maybe in one of the Orgrimmar buildings. We do now have a clubhouse, per the screenshot at the top of this article.
