KLHThreatMeter vs. Omen2

For those raiding Friday night, it was painfully obvious that Omen2 was sucking the life out of our DPS and aggro management. For those completely oblivious, Omen wasn't properly tracking raid threat, and was displaying some serious glitches in the UI, making aggro management unpossible.

The easy fix, seems obvious: start using KLHThreatMeter. But, as it seems painfully obvious from the feedback posts, it is FUBAR as well.

So what do we do? We have two options:
  1. Go back to no DPS until 3 sunders, or (in the case of Liz tanking) when the MT calls for DPS.
  2. Make a concerted effort to download the absolute latest release of either AddOn, per the user's preference.
My recommendation is #2. My advice is to check daily for the new versions and also checking just prior to any raids or difficult instances.

At our next raid, I'll perform a version check (/omen versioncheck all) for the Omen2 users to determine whether or not we are all on the same page. If others are using KLHThreatMeter, then someone needs to step up and ensure that those users have the latest version. We will not begin raid pulls until everyone has the latest meter.
