Illhoof Down and Next Raid Information

Note: raiders who are still unfamiliar with the boss fights need to take 10 minutes and review the YouTube tutorials I posted here. Also, WoWWiki has some very in-depth tactics discussions you should all read.Monday night, Frequently Reported visited Karazhan to finish what we started Saturday evening... starting with a complete massacre of Terestian Illhoof. We wiped on the first "learner" pull, but bounced back with a no-death destruction of the nubcake. Ielle earned herself the Breastplate of the Lightbinder and Radd picked up the Girdle of the Prowler.
We then attempted Nethersprite. Our first go was utter chaos, with beams being split and general "headless chicken" syndrome. The second try was much better, but dancing in the red beam proved to be problematic. On our third attempt, we dropped the dragon to about 20% but ended up with a fluke dead tank that wiped us. Our next trip into Karazhan should produced some I.W.I.N. on that boss.
With imminent respawns, we decided to skip a fourth shot on Nether and took on Prince Malchezaar. It was also a three attempt try. Much like our first fight with Nethersprite, our first take on Prince was marred by some confusion as to placement and duties. The second attempt was much better, reaching Prince's second stage. Our third attempt was beautiful and should have earned us some loot, if not for a terrible Infernal drop right in the middle of the caster group. I believe the next time we face Prince, we'll be distributing the T4 Helm Token.
Next raid: Please stock up on your own consumables or find some change to toss in the bank for mats and manufacturing. As a reminder, Brad has offered to make Flasks at mat costs for the entire raiding group. The next raiding night is TBA, pending schedules and time to recoup our gold and consumable expenditures.
