Bank Update and Poll Item
Wednesday, March 19, 2008 by C. Carter
We're adding a new tab to the Guild Bank, which will be reserved for request items (such as epic world drops and high level enchanting materials). Only I will have access to these items for withdrawal. The process to obtain any of these items is as follows:
- Send an in-game mail, to Radd, indicating the item desired.
- Attend an in-vent meeting with Radd and at least one Founder.
- An assessment of your deposit to withdrawal ratio.
- A character of Member status or higher.
Depending on the item in question, there may be a cost - paid to the Guild Bank - for the acquisition of the item. The price will be based upon the average price recommended by Auctioneer minus 25% to 50% (thanks for the idea, Dannielle).
Finally, Brad approached me with an interesting, and prudent, recommendation. He can manufacture Flasks for raiding, and make those available (at cost, paid to the Guild Bank) through the new Request Tab. Flasks are inherently better than Elixirs or normal Potions for raiding, due to the fact their effects persist through death. Please vote your opinion on the Poll to the left.
My poll wasnt to the left it was all the way at the bottom. Like all the other stuff used to be to the left but is now at the bottom.
GG.
I agree about the last tab but I dont agree with the sale at market value, what incentive is that? I think it should be market value minus a certain percentage like 15-20% This is after all for guildies and most of us work out deals individually that are much better than market value.
Just IMHO.
I can clarify. When Chris says "at cost" he means cost of the mats, NOT cost market value. In addition, we'll use bank funds to "bulk buy" mats so we'll get an even better deal.
I'm estimating a savings in the realm of 30% to 50% as compared to market price.
At those prices I think it is as cost effective as Elixirs (expecting a few wipes), and more powerful for raid.
For those that don't know what flasks are:

Look at the ones that are level 75 and crafted. I can make all those.
I wasnt referring to the flasks so much as his tab for Epix and other items. :) But thanks for the clarification!
implementing D's idea - good input...
