Tweaking Guild Organization
Saturday, April 26, 2008 by C. Carter
Lately, it seems like we are collectively logging in and idling until it is time for bed or boredom sets in. In an effort to help organize our guild's activities I downloaded an AddOn called GroupCalendar. I'm still working out the finer points on setting it up, but in a nutshell it provides the guild with an actual calendar of events, as well as a method to sign up.
Events include raids, planned PvP, normal instance runs (presumably for reputation grinds), and other group events. Additionally, you can also notate personal events - such as a dentist appointment - that won't be shared with the guild at large. You can even post guildie birthdays - please send me an in-game tell and I will be sure to add yours.
In order to access the guild calendar, you must download the AddOn. The current and latest version is GroupCalendar 4.0. It is available both at the home site of the developers and Curse.
We do have a Karazhan raid scheduled for Sunday, April 27 at our regular time. It is on the calendar.
